The Congress is planned as a continuation of a series of conferences initiated in the Abat Oliba CEU University in Barcelona.

It’s planed by Dr. Marcin Kazmierczak and other members of the Research Group Family, Education and Inclusive School (Trivium): Dr. María Teresa Signes, Dr. Amparo Acereda and Dr. Laura Amado. The previous congresses were held in 2012, 2013, and 2015 in Barcelona (Spain) and in 2016 in Krakow (Poland). The 2015 and 2016 Congresses involved the cooperation of the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Krakow, represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Education Dr. Krzysztof Biel SJ, and the University of Namur, represented by Dr. Evelyne Charlier, Head of the Department of Education and Technology.

In order to participate in the Congress, it is required to send the title and the abstract of the lecture (max. 100 words) to the electronic address palabrayeducacion@uao.es before the 15^th October of 2018. Lectures may centre on issues related to the educational process from the point of view of the following areas

1. Philosophy, Ethics and Theory of Education

2. Literature and Literacy in Education

3. Psychology in Education

4. Narrative and Biographical Method in Education

This Congress’ edition aims to bring together education experts, philosophers of education, psychologists, literary scholars, art historians and theatre scholars to explore thinking about the experience as well as the practice of moral education. Both theoretical and empirical studies are welcome.
